I am a cross-platform director of photography, reporter, dronist and editor whose work has been officially nominated for the Rory Peck Trust Awards, One World Media Awards, Prix Albert-Londres, Figra Festival, and the News & Documentary Emmy Awards.
Over the past eight years, I have worked with the BBC, Al Jazeera, CNA, ABC, France TV, ARTE, TF1, DW, France 24 and Channel 4, making documentaries and commercial films across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. I work primarily as a director of photography and often direct the documentaries I film.
My work has taken me into frontline and hostile environments during some of the world’s most critical moments, including the Indonesia earthquake and tsunami, Sri Lanka’s Easter bombings, the famine in Somalia, migrant-worker deaths in Qatar, the second lethal wave of COVID-19 in India, and several major investigative stories across the region.
I have contributed to a number of remarkable documentaries, including Sexual Abuse in Buddhism, Green Blood – Forbidden Story, Widows of Everest, Qatar: A Dynasty Conquering the World, The Plight of Migrant Workers in Qatar, Saving Nepal’s Mothers, and Love and Faith in India. I have also filmed two seasons of CNA’s acclaimed series Reaching the Unreached.
